Torch time!

This saturday I am to be one of those lucky 8,000 people to make sure the flame reaches our Opening Ceremony of the Olympics! Hoorah!

If you want to come watch, my 300 yard jaunt will be in Tower Hamlets at 1.56pm, Starting near the end (east end) of Bow Road and finishing at Tomlins Grove - it's heading from East to West.

People keep asking me how I feel about it all, and I'm not really sure. Unlike many Londoners I am actually quite excited about the games being in the city I call home. And to play a tiny part in it all is pretty brilliant isn't it!? I mean, how many people can say THAT!

So see you there perhaps, and maybe, just maybe, I will let you hold my torch after....

Hey Kris, I just saw you on the Eastenders torch special. Loads of luck for Saturday. I think you are fantastic - you and your sister came to my company meeting earlier in the year and I was amazed by your fantastic spirit and lust for life. You are truly inspirational.

Have a blast on Saturday x
